Mary Tricia White, DVM

Dr. Mary Tricia White grew up in South Georgia. She became interested in veterinary medicine when she was given her first cat for her 3rd birthday.

Starting at age 15, she worked in a veterinary hospital in her hometown, assisting in surgery, pulling calves, and working in the kennels until she graduated high school.

Dr. White attended Georgia Southern University and the University of Georgia, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology. She earned her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and began working for Aiken Animal Hospital in September of 2009.

It is important to Dr. White to establish and maintain relationships with her clients and to provide the best care for their pets. She is a member of AAFP and has a particular interest in internal medicine. She especially enjoys the challenge of working with feline patients.

Dr. White’s pet household includes 4 cats – Woody (“the king”), Huckleberry Jinks (“Berry”), Rupert Pawl Derp III, and Eminem aka Slim Shady (“Shy Boy”). Outside of work, Dr. White loves spending time with her 2 beautiful, energetic girls and going for day hikes.
