Dr. Nancy Bohman grew up along the East and West Coasts, upstate New York, and southern California.  She became interested in veterinary medicine from having all types of animals, riding horses, and from trying to save all of the injured and stray animals she encountered.

Dr. Bohman attended undergrad at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California and received her veterinary degree from Iowa State University in 1995.  Prior to moving to Aiken, SC, Dr. Bohman practiced veterinary medicine in a variety of high-end practices in southern California.

She has chickens, 2 horses (Ash and Mic), a cat (Taylor), and a dog (Spencer).  She enjoys trail riding, gardening, traveling, and scuba diving.

The human-animal bond and taking care of clients and their pets is extremely important to her.  Dr. Bohman’s special interests include dermatology and internal medicine.  She also has special interests in herbal medicine and acupuncture therapy.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and she is a certified CVA (acupuncture) since 2014.
