Dr. Susanna Oliver grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. Oliver has always had animals growing up (especially horses and dogs) and could never think of anything else she wanted to do besides being a veterinarian.
Dr. Oliver attended Clemson University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Animal and Pre-veterinary Sciences. She earned her DVM degree from NC State in Raleigh, NC in 2014 and began working for Aiken Animal Hospital in September of 2022.
It is important to Dr. Oliver to help pets by helping pet owners understand their pets' needs, and she has a particular interest in small animal surgery. She is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and SCAV (South Carolina Association of Veterinarians).
Dr. Oliver's pet household includes 2 horses - May and Fizzy, 1 cat - Riley, 2 dogs - Deshaun and Ginny, and 1 goat - Merle. Outside of work, Dr. Oliver hobbies include horses and horse showing, watching football (especially the Clemson Tigers), and gardening.
